I was supposed to write a 3 page essay on the Kobe earthquake tonight. Instead, Ichigo bashed down the door to my brain, demanding attention. I told him to bugger off, but he just wouldn't listen. T_T

So here's a fanfic pretending to be a free-write. It's supposed to be therapeutic, but I don't know if that's for Ichigo's sake or my own.

Happy Birthday to me! I'm 21 today! I'm legal (again)! Actually, in Singapore I turned legal at 18, in Japan I turned legal at 20, and now is the third time... geez, it's starting to get old. :P Geez, I don't even drink much...

Anyway, I've been working on this forever (it seems) and I figured I'd post this now as a way to celebrate. I had to reread the previous chapters to make sure I knew where the story was going. Eep. ^_^;;

xerosphere posted some absolutely fantastic fanfic recently and I felt guilty that I wasn't able to finish my fic gift for x in time before winter break. If I were a better writer, I would be able to write stories faster...

Speaking of better writers, dosetsu wrote an awesome Zaraki/Yachiru fic that made me feel all warm & fuzzy inside. I've been in a good mood all day thanks to that. ^_^

I really should write something... so, somehow, I decided to write my first Kid!Renji/Kid!Rukia fic. It's not a particularly cute or sweet story - they're just a pair of punk kids, after all. ^_~

I've been listening to Paul Simon's "Father and Daughter" ever since dosetsu mentioned it earlier. It has me thinking of the latest chapter of Bleach and I find myself getting all sappy whenever I hear the line: "There could never be a father who loves his daughter more than I love you."

I've just taken the Japanese Language Proficiency Test and now I don't even have to even think about it again until I find out the results in March! Yay! ^_^

During my stressful weekend, an extremely odd IchiXRuki fic idea kept pestering me, so I wrote the rough draft the night before the test.

I've never written anything as 'suggestive' as this before, but it's a fic wherein Ichigo gets Rukia to fulfill his desire for her to... well, you'll see what I mean. ^_^;;

Yay! My favorite holiday of the year! The only time where Dad cooks and stuffs us full of turkey until we turn into sleepy blobs of pudding! XD

Lots of people came over this year - most of them never had a Thanksgiving before, but since it's just about stuffing oneself with gobs of food, we all had a great time! ^_^

Ahh... turkey stuffing and bread pudding owns my soul... @_@

Oh, and I also celebrated by getting a paid lj account. To be honest, I did it so that I could use more lj icons - my collection is getting way too big! :P

Oh, and I've discovered 2 new obsessions to keep me a happy camper: "Akachan to Boku" and "Fullmetal Alchemist." The funny thing is that, although one anime is shojo-style and the other this shonen-style, they are both stories focused on brotherhood.

"Akachan to Boku" (Baby & Me) is about a 10-yr-old boy who's mother dies suddenly. It's now up to the boy to raise his 1-yr-old little brother while their warm-hearted single Dad goes to work all day. It gets major points in my book for 1)being so gosh-darned cute, and 2)having my favorite seiyuu (Yamaguchi Kappei) as the voice of the main character! Whee! XD

"Fullmetal Alchemist" is something I just got into 3 days ago. It's about 2 brothers who paid heavily for a sin they committed and are now searching for a way to make amends with each other. That's all I'm going to say. It's a good manga, but an even cooler anime. Words can't express its coolness enough. I am getting so obsessed now!^_^

What's this? A whole entry without saying one thing about Bleach!? *gasp* o_0

In that case, here's something rather angsty that I wrote in the spirit of Thanksgiving. It's actually from Rukia's POV - which is a rarity, I guess. She can be pretty difficult to write. All the same, please forgive any inaccuracies. ^_^;

Saw Matrix: Revolutions recently. I loved it! I won't rag on it's bad points just to make me sound self-important and crap - I went to go see a cool sci-fi flick and that's exactly what I got. I'm happy! ^_^

There was an interview with Keanu Reeves on the opening night that they celebrated in Tokyo. When asked about his thoughts on the trilogy, he started talking about how much he enjoyed working on it, how cool it is, and how great the writers are - then he stopped babbling and laughed sheepishly, "Can you tell I'm a fan?" (so cute!^^)

The best part of that interview was the MTV Japan reporter - he wore a black kimono and had long hair stuck up in spikes. He looked like a young version of Zaraki Kenpachi!!! XD

Okay, now, onto something to make the horrid plot bunnies go away. This one is for lacewood because, if she hadn't mentioned this exact same crack fic idea earlier, I might've been able to resist the urge to write it. -_-;

Mom brought back my Bleach poster from the framers - it looks so cool now that it just radiates "coolness." It's been rolled up in my closet for 6 months already, but now I can put it over my desk, stare at it all day and waste away into nothing. I'm doomed (and happy about it). ^_^

Sorry it took me so long to update "Shinjuku Wild", but the chapter just kept getting longer and longer. I should have cut this into two chapters, but sometimes I don’t know where to stop and where to start. >_<
